Today the 6th of December 2017, members of Tanzania Ports Authority-Uganda (TPA), Tanzania Railways Limited (TRL) & TERP Media visited Mwanza South and North Ports in Tanzania.
Mwanza South Port is for Cargo handling. In some of the pictures above, they are seen standing on the MV Umoja, a Tanzanian vessel that moves cargo between Mwanza and Portbell-Uganda. It's capacity is 1,200 tons. It is in functional state and next week it will be moving cement for one of the customers at Corban, Luzira-Portbell.
Here, some Ugandan cargo had arrived at Mwaza in one of the smaller vessels.
